Unusual Fact: Gracie has no front teeth
Gracie was a Labrador Cross.
She was a “Rescue dog” from the R.S.P.C.A.
She had a very bad start in life, and was badly treated, lost her puppies, had mange and had no front teeth due to them being kicked out.
Gracie was the most forgiving dog and just loved being amongst people.
She does not have much confidence but with love and patience she learnt new things all the time.
Gracie did not dwell on her past but concentrated on the present and gave inspiration to people who also needed to move forward with their lives.
She needed sympathetic handling.
She would get worried easily if she didn’t get things right, Gracie formed a close loving relationship with many people and was very content in being loved.
Therefore Gracie’s loving personality was perfect to work with children.
When the children learn about her past they felt empathy towards her.
Gracie sadly passed away in September 2019, but she will never be forgotten and gave plenty of happy memories to everyone who was blessed to meet her.
