Pet Respect are proud to share that Rebecca and Lady have been nominated for the BBC Humberside Make a Difference Awards 2025!
We found out in June 2025 that Rebecca and Lady had been nominated. The awards recognise individuals and groups who make life better for people in our communities.
A panel of judges will consider all entries and shortlist 32, those finalists are announced live on BBC Radio Humberside in Summer 2025.
Rebecca appears live on BBC Radio Humberside on Thursday 21st August 2025, make sure to listen in!
Finalists will be invited to join a ceremony in September where the winners will be announced.
BBC Humberside received hundreds of deserving entries, and they like to tell as many nomination stories as they can.
Rebecca and Lady were visited by BBC Humberside presenter, Richard Stead, in July during one of Pet Respects residential care home visits as they wanted to feature their story and also see the wonderful Lady in action.
